Cleveland, OH – Findley Davies Managing Principal Rob Rogers announced today that the firm has begun implementation of a transition plan for the next Managing Principal of the Human Resources Consulting Firm.

John Weber has been selected by the Shareholders of the firm to succeed Rob as the next Managing Principal. John and Rob will work together over the next 20 months to smoothly and incrementally transition the leadership responsibilities so John is prepared to take over full responsibility on January 1, 2010.

John, 46, is currently a Principal and National Practice Leader of Findley Davies’ Retirement Consulting Practice. He is also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. In his new role, he will be responsible for executing a high-growth strategy for Findley Davies. He will also be supporting business development efforts and ensuring a continued culture of exceptional client service.

John who resides in Charlotte, North Carolina will serve in his new capacity from that location while continuing to serve clients in the Southeast. Whereas, Rob will continue to work from the Cleveland, Ohio office and will focus on client service, business development and other firm wide initiatives.

More about John Weber

John joined Findley Davies in April 1994 as Business Operations Manager and in September 1994 was promoted to Practice Leader of the Defined Contribution Recordkeeping and Administration Practice. He became a Principal and was promoted into his current position of National Practice Leader of Retirement Consulting in 2005. He relocated to the Charlotte, North Carolina office of Findley Davies in 2005. Prior to joining Findley Davies, John held various positions in the financial departments of two major corporations.

A graduate of Bowling Green State University in Ohio, John holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a frequent speaker on retirement plan issues. He currently serves a member of the Board of Directors for the Charlotte Youth Hockey Association.
